Las Sendas Golf Course

Las Sendas Golf Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and opened for public play in February of 1995. The course has matured into one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in the Country. According to two ZAGAT Surveys Las Sendas is one of the top 50 courses in the nation and Golf Digest rated it as the 16th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. Located in East Mesa at the base of the Usery Mountains, Las Sendas Golf Course offers beautiful mountain scenery and spectacular views of the Phoenix metropolis. The course features 6,836 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. There are 4 sets of elevated tee boxes for the enjoyment of golfers of all skill levels. The course rating is 73.8 and it has a slope rating of 149 on Bermuda grass. Las Sendas is a well maintained course with a demanding, challenging, desert-style layout and fast greens. The course has excellent practice facilities with range, chipping and putting areas. Acclaimed by avid golfers and sports writers, Las Sendas is generally considered one of the Arizona's best courses.

The clubhouse features a well stocked pro shop and The Las Sendas Grille. The Grille is a full service restaurant and is open for breakfast and lunch everyday. A full lunch menu offers a selection of fresh salads, sandwiches, soups, chicken and burgers. The Grille offers some of the most spectacular sunsets and panoramic views available in the valley. Stretching as far as the eye can see, from the picturesque city lights to the majestic mountain landscape, The Grille offers a scenic dining experience.

The Mondrian, Scottsdale

The Mondrian Scottsdale is located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, within walking distance to the City’s most popular art Galleries, restaurants and shops and is only a 20-25 minute drive from La Scendas Golf Course. Designed by rising international star Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, Mondrian Scottsdale is an inventive vision of modern glamour for a new generation of sophisticated global travelers. Opened in January 2007, this “Urban Resort” is a sheltered oasis that belies its surroundings. From the street, only walls and lush gardens are visible. Through the iconic 25 foot Mondrian “gates” fashioned entirely from tropical bougainvillea, visitors enter the hotel via a sweeping entranceway carpeted by a virtual red carpet of stenciled leaves. Guests are then greeted with a cooling fountain and cascading double-height white drapes as they enter the lobby.

Beyond the lobby, multi-tonal lighting emanates from the archways of the renowned eatery Asia de Cuba, the latest addition to Jeffrey Chodorow's acclaimed restaurant empire, and MHG's legendary nightspots Skybar and the new, Red Bar. The Red Bar is adorned by a luscious combination of scarlet textures and textiles. Skybar, accessed from the gardens, has an open-air living room made for relaxing and stargazing. Guests will surely enjoy the ambience provided by the enchanting glow of the outdoor fireplace. A cluster of veiled cabanas may also be rented for more intimate entertaining. Mondrian Scottsdale creates outdoor and open indoor spaces that flow naturally into one another to heighten the connection with the natural beauty of its desert surroundings.

Mondrian Scottsdale features 194 oversized guest rooms including 15 suites and 2 stunning apartments. Ground floor rooms have patio terraces, and the upper floors have private balconies.
